I tried to revenge this base after getting raided by TBear. Using level 3 giants going straight across from left to right it took too long and finished just short of the last tower as time ran out.
Our clan's first run in with the scattered design. Rafu underestimated the effetiveness of this design and failed to 3 star the base. Very difficult to predict where your troops will go.
Unusual base design. A concentrated central wall protecting the TH and gold storages and not much else. A scattered layout forces attacks to initiate at the edges of the battlefield making it difficult to control the direction of your troops. Would love to see some replays of this base.
Really nice farming base design. Mortars and AD's are neatly tucked inside multiple layers of walls and behind storages. DE (dark elixir) and CC are centered. TH (town hall) is exposed but not naked. Perimeter is extended to the edges of the battlefiled. Nice symmetry and order. A welcomed variation on the box design.
One of the first effective farming bases I've come across since I started collecting screenshots. Wizard towers and ADs (air defenses) are entrenched, CC (clan castle) is centered, and mortars and cannons effectively circle the perimeter guarding against archer raids. Not sure where he was planning to put those big bombs though.
This is the start of the base design page. Sometimes referred to as the defense layout or base layout, it is about designing a base to defend against attackers who want raid your loot and trophies. Without a good base design you can't effectively defend your loot long enough to spend it on building and upgrading defenses. This page will highlight some of the best and most interesting bases I've run into since I started collecting screen caps. Some are creative, some are deceptive, and some are downright scarey. Some like this one by Nina, can be all of the above. Enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments.
